This picture was taken over the city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The city is in the midst of a massive transformation, with over a quarter of it's residents being relocated. Old neighborhoods are disappearing and new ones are forming. For it's increasing population of 3.5 million the only way to compromise seems to be up.
